Scholarships

Young Musicians Opportunity Program

Supported by a recent grant, the Longmont Youth Symphony is now offering financial assistance to young musicians interested in joining LYS.

STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY CAN RECEIVE:

• Tuition scholarships for any LYS ensemble (grades 3-12), and
• Payment assistance for private lessons arranged through LYS.

Our Spreading the Harmony program is open to current LYS musicians and to students who are not yet members of the Longmont Youth Symphony. Families with financial constraints are encouraged to apply.

WE ARE ESPECIALLY LOOKING FOR STUDENTS PLAYING THE FOLLOWING INSTRUMENTS:

Oboe/English Horn, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Saxophone, Percussion, and All String Instruments, including String Bass and Viola.
