Longmont Youth Symphony is excited to welcome Alison Mayes as the new music director and conductor of our Strings Ensemble. Having taught music in Colorado’s public schools since 2007, Mrs. Mayes currently teaches at Grandview High School. She has served as Camp Director of the C*ASTA String Camp, as well as the Chair Person for the Colorado All-State Orchestra.
On Sunday, October 18th, Mrs. Mayes will conduct the Strings Ensemble (LYSE) in performance for the first time, at our Fall Concert of the 2015-2016 season.
