Day 3 – Hong Kong We loaded up the buses after a great night’s sleep and headed for Wong Tai Sin Temple, a Taoist temple. Ali and Kenna are lighting their incense sticks prior to heading into the temple grounds. We toured through the grounds and enjoyed the beautiful grounds. Then we headed to the Avenue of the Stars – Hong Kong’s Hollywood Walk of Fame. The walk is along the waterfront and while we couldn’t recognize most of the stars we did enjoy seeing the stars for Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. Better though was the view of Victoria Harbor. Then it was off to see the shopping sights. It seems to be a professional sport here but fortunately, I didn’t see any designer label bags on the bus.    It seems like we spend most of our time eating. Our meals have been quite varied with many local dishes. The kids have mastered chop sticks and haven’t complained. We have breakfasts at the hotel and lunch and dinner have been in different restaurants. The average meal has 5-6 different dishes along with rice and tea.  Our guides are quite entertaining. Be sure to ask about “Happy Roomsâ€.  Tomorrow, we head to Mainland China. We will have lunch in Shenzhen. Then off to our hotel in Guangzhou. We’ll walk down Beijing Road and have an evening dinner cruise on the Pearl River.Â
